For Goalies

There is no better compliment for a goalie than to be called a “brick wall.” Earning that compliment takes time, hard work, and dedication to the fundamentals.

Established in the Fall of 2021, the “Bricklayers Club” is our in-season goalie development program, designed to recognize dedicated Moose Youth Hockey goalies who put in the work to become a “brick wall.” Once a goalie earns a place in the Bricklayers Club, their achievement will live on in Moose Youth Hockey history.

The three (3) levels of achievement are:

• Apprentice - the goalie has successfully completed the program one (1) or two (2) seasons
• Journeyman - the goalie has successfully completed the program three (3) or four (4) seasons
• Master Bricklayer - the goalie has successfully completed the program at least five (5) seasons

ʰ In order to recognize those who came before us, goalies who displayed the dedication required to earn the Master Bricklayer distinction, but graduated Moose Youth Hockey and moved on to the High School program prior to the establishment of this program are recognized as Honorary Members. These are the goalies we all aspire to be like.
