Frequently asked questions
When does the season begin and end?
Pre-season clinics start in September, they are not mandatory but strongly encouraged. Tryouts will begin after the completion of pre-season clinics, and are mandatory. More information on tryouts and the process can be found in the Handbook. Practices begin following the completion of tryouts and team formations. The season ends in March.
When do we get a schedule?
Once teams are formed you will be able access your skater's schedule. You will be able to see practices, games, and tournament schedules as they are added by our Ice Scheduler. District games are scheduled at the season start and rarely are rescheduled outside of weather cancellations. Additional games and scrimmages are scheduled by coaches and team managers and may be added throughout the season. Practice schedules are released as ice time is coordinated. While tournaments are scheduled before the start of the season, the schedules are typically not released until a few weeks prior.
Do you provide equipment?
We have limited equipment available to loan out. You will want to reach out to our Equipment Manager, Eric Metso, found under the Board of Directors page.
